  • Reaching their potential by fulfilling the responsibilities they have agreed to by signing the commitment statement.
  • Attending additional training sessions, being on time and fully participating to meet deadlines.
  • Dressing in attire suitable for the working environment.
  • Being mindful that they are representing themselves, Capella and the organisation in which they are completing their apprenticeship.
  • Participating fully in all aspects of health and safety.
  • Adhering to company policies.
  • Following company procedures and all other aspects of HR such as sickness and absence reporting.
  • Reporting concerns about unsafe working practices, harassment or bullying to their line manager and Capella Trainer or Capella’s Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Taking responsibility for their own learning and for their own health and safety.
  • Creating, reviewing and updating their Individual Learning Plan.
  • Conducting regular reviews of progress and completing agreed actions to ensure all milestones are met.
  • Increasing employability through the development of supporting competencies including literacy, numeracy, ICT, personal and social skills within their training programme.
  • Recognising and grasping progression opportunities, raising their aspirations to undertake more learning and/or to achieve promotion.
  • Reviewing (on completion of the training programme) and reflecting on the learning experience and discussing progression possibilities.
  • Providing feedback to help Capella drive improvements in the quality of our provision and our learners’ experience.
